Is where my brother will be going on his mission. No one ever thought it would be California since our uncle is a Mission President near Sacramento, but apparently them being in the same state but hundreds of miles away isn't a problem. I was really hoping for something exciting like Boston or England, but I guess California is where he's supposed to go. I am so excited for him and this will be the best thing he's ever done, and the fact that he's going on his own time and isn't 19, I think that will give him better perspective on everything. Jared's good friend went there on his mission and loved it, so that's a good sign. He will leave on July 8th, 2009 so that puts his farewell sometime during the last couple weeks in June.
